While they might not be as bright and tropical as in the tropics, Alaskan fish are very beneficial. Mollusks like clams, oysters, and even octopi have been found and harvested in wild Alaskan oceans. A few people may consider it an aquired taste, but commercial fishing is very important to Alaska’s economy. Wild Alaskan salmon is considered a delicacy in many parts of the world.
