: The Jade Peony Blooming in Canadian Literature n the prize novel The Jade Peony by Wayson Choy, the Chinese version and hybridization of Canadian literature ZHAO Qing qing ( Research Center of Canada, Nanjing University, Nanjing Jiangsu 210093, China) Abstract: The prize novel The J ade Peony by the famous Canddian Chinese writer Wayson Choy discribes how the wealth dream of the Chinese in Canada is dashed to the ground. It deserves admiration that Canadian Chinese version has made its efforts for a long time to solve the problem of status by means of hybridization.
