Nurse practitioners are very calm and polite people. If you didn’t already know, nurse practitioners treat physical and mental conditions, work alongside doctors and nurses, and have quite the salary! So, you know what career you’re looking into next, right? Imagine you’re riding your bike down a sidewalk at super fast speed when all of a sudden you lose your footing. Before you know it, you’re sitting in your mom’s car on the way to the hospital suffering a broken arm. Well who do you think is there to greet you at the hospital? A nurse practitioner will be there to greet you with everything a sweet smile and ready to roll you up to your room. Suddenly, you feel much more comfortable and the pain feels like it’s going away. Nurse practitioners are nice and polite people who are always awaiting another needy patient with open arms and put their best foot forward every day.
A nurse practitioner is an advanced practice registered nurse who has completed graduate level education. Even though nurse practitioners cannot perform major surgeries, they work in and around there office. With the supervision of a doctor, nurse practitioners can do minor office procedures, order diagnostic tests, treat minor diseases, and write prescriptions. “Nurse Practitioners enjoy an excellent patient satisfaction record nationally.” FUN FACT: “It has been surveyed that most patients have found the highest quality of care consistently being delivered by nurse practitioners.” In the United States, the salary for a nurse practitioner will range from $71,000 in Hawaii, to $109,000 in New York.
The job of a nurse practitioner can be a very fun and successful job. Depending on the type of nurse practitioner that you want to be, you could earn more money. Also, the amount you get paid will mostly be based on how many years of experience you have. As you can see, being a nurse practitioner is a big deal, and currently they are at a very high demand!
