Discount Apparel Retailer Adds JDA Strategic Demand Management Applications to Support Integration of Planning, Replenishment and Store Merchandising Activities.June 2006 – JDA® Software Group announced that Pepkor Retail Limited, a subsidiary in the Pepkor group of companies, is implementing additional JDA Portfolio® applications to support its 1,100 PEP discount apparel locations. By deploying Portfolio Replenishment Optimization by E3® (PRO) on the PortfolioEnabled® framework and Portfolio Category Management by Intactix® software, Pepkor expects to reduce the high level of safety stock across the business and improve stock turns by improving the process of matching stock levels to customer demand.”Our goal is to ensure the best possible inventory levels are maintained throughout our supply chain,” said Corne Klem, PEP Planning and Distribution director. “JDA’s replenishment and category management applications will enable us to automate the synchronization of all decisions and processes around forecasting, planning, promoting and ordering.
