Under the Influence.

This story is narrated by the son of an alcoholic father. This story basically revolves around him and his family. We all know drinking is a terrible and unhealthy habit to have, but who would’ve thought it would lead him to his death bed. This story shows how drinking can ruin not only a person, but their family also. In general, people can learn how dangerous drinking can really be. Drinking can tear apart a family.

This can show teens how important it is to take care of themselves. The son in the story shows how terrible this makes him feel. He explains the things he had to go through while watching his father wither away. This must have been a really hard time in his life, but he shows that he has learned from it and will move on.
