Cyber Schools VS. Public Schools

Cyber schools has created a better learning environment and provided a better education to prepare students to be successful later in life. On this paper, I will define what is a Cyber school, why it is preferred by many people in providing an authentic learning environment and a better education to prepare students for their future.

Cyber schools are public schools that deliver most of their programs through the Internet. Most of the families prefer to take their children to these places because of the many advantages they have over the normal public school class programs. Students can work from their conformability either at their homes with the supervision of a responsible adult (Trend 2001). This has enhanced the work of their guardians on the routine work of driving them to school every morning and picking them in the evening hours.Cyber schools also provide a greater deal of flexibility, in that it allows the student to choose when and how she will program herself and structure the school days. For example if the student has some serious medical condition, making it a challenge physically attend the school, Cyber School is less advantageous due to its flexibility.

In the recent past, many cases of under performance in public schools ae often reported as a result, of lack of books or reading materials. However, this is opposite in Cyber schools, in that every student is provided with enough books and computers hence an excellent preparation for their better future (Trend 2001).In a situation, where a student is seriously involved in outside activities such as, sports, dance, or theatre, Cyber schools provides a good quality education (Difebo 2000). The student capable to recap what he has not learnt as the Cyber schools provide opportunities to gain education through its far-reaching logistics. The technology used by this Cyber schools also provides an optimal, interactive learning environment to the student, instilling goals of challenging them individually on the way forward in life (Maeroff 2003). This has helped a vast deal in a situation where parents have no time to discuss or teach their children on such issue like sex or HIV/AIDS.

In addition, Cyber schools are beneficial to a student in a situation where students especially in remote locations are not able to access a convectional school but, as long as the Internet connection is available, these students are in a position to be sure of their future. The nature of live class rooms only benefit the student leaarning abilities, leaving some students who, are capable of accelerating their curriculum unchallenged, but the Cyber schools provide room for the student to progress at their own rate. This is as effective as the student will gain more knowledge apart from what they receive from their teachers. In a situation, where parents are to relocate more often, Cyber schools are much preferred. For example, those in military work, their children can still maintain their consistent and seamless experience regardless of where they relocate as long as they can access to Internet services (Maeroff 2003).Cyber schools are an ideal choice for busy professionals who do not have time to attend the normal class schedules.

This is because the Cyber schools are based on independent studies whereby the course work must be completed not matter if the student was active or not.Unlike the public schools, Cyber schools do not require payment of tuition fee. This is an advantage to many parents who are struggling day-in day-out to pay the tuition fees for their children (Difebo 2000). In addition, the parents have a privilege of choosing the social situation that is suitable for the growth of their children. In all this, the students are all way knowledge rounded.
