Society

For many years, society has been around. But society is not always perfect. For a while now society has been a bit of a mess. When we are young, the majority of us are told things. And it’s not always our fault that we are told such things, and its not the fault of a parent either most of the time. It’s just society has been taught and explained to us that way.

Something that is most common nowadays in society is homophobes. This has been a problem for a while now. But what exactly is a homophobe? Well, “1. a person who fears or hates homosexuals and homosexuality.” Homophobes have many reasons to hate on homosexuals, but not all of the reasons make sense.

For example, some people are religious, and in some cases, they argue that the bible said that homosexuality is wrong. This is not always the case though. Some people are just uncomfortable with the thought of it, and that is fine too, as long as they don’t go around saying how much they hate homosexuals. But I believe that the most common number one reasons kids and adults often dislike or have a fear of homosexuals is because of society. When we are young we are taught that liking the opposite gender is the way to go.

Sometimes we aren’t even taught this, it just happens. But even then, no one teaches kids that it’s okay to be different. Many of us have expectations for their kids. If they’re a boy they play with monster trucks, ninja turtles, etc,. If they’re a girl they play with dolls, play “house”, etc,. And this isn’t anyone’s fault, mostly.

It just how we were raised. But homophobes are just something else wrong with society. Not all of them, but most of them. There have been instances where kids have been bullied, or even have committed suicide because of it. People don’t realize the dangers of this usually.

In conclusion, society can be kind of mad. Ways to solve the this problem with society is to keep doing good, talk about it with others, let them knows what’s up. And ways to deal with homophobes? Perhaps tell them to consider being more open-minded. Hopefully, society gets better in time.
