Many people ask me why? Why would you want to be in a field that is so sad and deals with sad things? Like abuse or the neglect of people. Personally, I do not see it as something really sad and horrible. I see it as something helpful and also challenging. A person in social work needs to have a way about them that is straight to it but also who cares. A dream job for me would be a social worker because it is a chance to help others, you can learn things about yourself, and it is a diverse career.
