FSO stands for flexible scheduling options. This allows you to arrive late for the first period and second period and leave early at the last two periods. It has to work with your schedule and if you want a full 8 credits then just take one period off. But you have to have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher to be able to be involved in FSO. FSO in the morning makes you not feel so rushed in the morning and gives you time to do things you don’t have time to do. It helps if you’re in a sport as well because it you get more sleep and it helps you perform better. Also, being at school for even one less hour makes a difference on your stress level. It lowers it immensely. It raises grades as well, because you have time to eat a healthy breakfast. FSO in the afternoon lets you have more time to study and do homework.

And if you get all your homework done, you have time to do things you can do on the weekend like going out to eat with friends or going to sporting events at your school. FSO basically have more time and time is crucial during school. It makes grades go up as well, have that snack after school. With the flexible scheduling option, there is absolutely no traffic, which is really nice. There is a special reserved parking lot for FSO students, so they don’t have to worry about getting a parking space right where the teachers park straight across from the JV field hockey fields. When students arrive, they can just walk into school and go straight to their class.

And if they have it in the afternoon, they can just leave and go straight out to their car. Students don’t have to check in or out. FSO is great for anyone.
