إن تحليل السياسية - الاقتصاد - الاجتماع - التكنولوجيا هوإطار يستعمله مستشاري الإستراتيجية لمسح البيئة الكبيرة الخارجية التي فيها تعمل الشركة مختصر للعوامل التالية:

• السياسّة

• الاقتصاد

• الاجتماع

• التكنولوجيّا

على أية حال عادة خارج سيطرة الشركة وعادة يجب اعتبارها أما تهديدات أو فرص. على أية حال عادة خارج سيطرة الشركة وعادة يجب اعتبارها أما تهديدات أو فرص. تذكر أن العوامل الإقتصادية واسعة النطاق يمكن أن تختلف من قارة لأخرى، لذا عادة تحليل السياسية - الاقتصاد - الاجتماع - التكنولوجيا يجب أن يؤدي لكل بلد
