Que é análise do PEST?

A análise do PEST é um framework que os consultantes da estratégia se usem fazer a varredura do macro-environment externo em que uma empresa se opera. O PEST é um acrônimo para os seguintes fatores:

• Político

• Econômico

• Social

• Tecnologico

Os fatores do PEST jogam um papel importante nas oportunidades da criação do valor de uma estratégia. Entretanto são geralmente fora do controle do corporaçõ e devem normalmente ser considerados como ameaças ou oportunidades. Recorde que os fatores macro-econômicos podem diferir por o continente, país ou mesmo a região, assim normalmente uma análise do PEST deve ser executada por o país.

Na tabela abaixo de você encontre exemplos de cada um destes fatores.

Terminar um PEST analysis é relativamente simples, e pode ser feita através das oficinas usando técnicas do brainstorming. O uso da análise do PEST pode variar de: companhia e planeamento estratégico, planeamento do marketing, desenvolvimento do negócio e de produto, e relatórios da pesquisa.

Variants do PEST analysis

Os formulários às vezes prolongados são usados, como SLEPT Analysis (mais legal) ou STEEPLE Analysis: Fatores sociais/demográficos, tecnologicos, econômicos, ambientais (natural), políticos, legais e éticos. Também os fatores geográficos podem ser significativos.
