Video Games Cause Future Juveniles

Most people in this world don’t understand the age at which a juvenile turns into an adult. Once you turn 18 you are legally an adult but are you mentally an adult? The main controversy is if juvenile offenders should be tried as adults. I firmly believe that juvenile who commits violent crimes such as […]

Daily Talent

“Raise,” we did; “stand [formally]”; we did, “bow,” I tilted my head only by a little bit. Distorted and messy memories, I manage to organize my ideas despite the horrible past hunting me. Talents would follow me anywhere now, whenever society requires. Out of the window, music roared from the loud banging of drums. People […]

How To Become a Writer

1. Write. 2. Write. 3. Write. 4. Always bring a notebook with you. Ideas travel in the most inconvenient places. You can’t trust them, therefore you have to outsmart one and catch them. 5. Getting an idea from a movie or a book IS NOT STEALING. Copying the direct words is, but using the idea […]

“Lost in page upon page of words, they’re endless and pointless. They bleed off of their page and into me, my skin, my bones, my mind.” This is an excerpt from Oae’s “Dreams and Other Tales.” Oae, like many fiction authors, impresses some with her characters, lack of continuous typos, interesting dialogue, and way of […]

The theme of loneliness in John Steinbeck’s novel, Of Mice and Men, and the loneliness felt by the people affected during World War II go hand in hand.
